Residential Conveyancer

Location: Dorset (Broadstone)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Full Remuneration Package: £55,000-£70,000 DOE

A well-established Dorset law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its growing property team in Broadstone.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to take over an active caseload of residential property matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. The firm has built a strong reputation for delivering high levels of client service and is continuing to invest in the growth of its conveyancing offering.

The Role

You will manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through to completion, including:

  • Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
  • New build transactions
  • Transfers of equity
  • Re-mortgages
  • Reviewing title documentation and search results
  • Raising and responding to enquiries
  • Preparing contracts, transfers and mortgage documentation
  • Managing exchange and completion processes
  • SDLT submissions and HM Land Registry registrations
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors

The role offers a strong level of autonomy whilst benefiting from support from an experienced and collaborative team.

About You

  • Qualified Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer
  • Strong experience handling a residential conveyancing caseload
  • Excellent knowledge of residential property law and conveyancing procedures
  • Familiarity with AML requirements and regulatory compliance
  • Experience using case management systems and online conveyancing portals
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Client-focused with excellent communication abilities
  • Able to work efficiently in a busy transactional environment
