Section Engineer

Our client is seeking a Section Engineer to join their team on a contract basis within the water sector. This urgent requirement is aimed at professionals with a strong background in civil engineering, specifically within the wastewater and clean water treatment disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review designs and verify design information
• Check Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS)
• Coordinate Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and check sheets
• Assist with permit-to-break-ground applications, if possible

Job Requirements:

Our client is looking for someone with:

• Experience in wastewater systems, major clean water treatment projects, ductile iron, and pipework
• Knowledge of drainage, deep drainage, excavation support, and temporary works
• Temporary Works Supervisor ticket (beneficial but not mandatory)
• Utility Service Coordinator (USC) qualifications and/or permit-to-break-ground qualifications (advantageous)
