Works Manager

Our client, a prominent player in the construction sector, is currently seeking a Works Manager with a specialisation in civil engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing and overseeing the construction works
• Ensuring all work is completed to industry standards and project requirements
• Coordinating with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth project execution
• Monitoring project progress and making adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion
• Conducting site inspections and ensuring health and safety compliance on all worksites
• Preparing progress reports and updating project documentation
• Addressing and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the project lifecycle
• Maintaining effective communication with all project team members and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

• Significant experience in civil engineering
• Strong understanding of construction standards and regulations related to large diameter trunk main projects
• Proven ability to manage and coordinate large-scale construction projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Relevant civil engineering qualification or equivalent experience
