About the role
We're looking for someone friendly, professional and confident. You’ll be the person a guest or colleague turns to if they have a concern or complaint and you’ll have the power to make things right. You’ll be involved in everything from serving at the bar, to preparing breakfast, taking reservations, ensuring our housekeeping and maintenance teams are aware of any issues, to delegating and monitoring tasks so you’ll be willing and able to multi-task. We’re looking for individuals, not robots! We want people who can really shine in a busy setting, who are comfortable and confident in meeting new people, who can delegate tasks and handle the smooth-running of a shift and who have a passion for great customer service. Practices and processes can be taught, but personality is key to being a successful GSM. It'll mean communicating effectively and leading the team on shift, being willing to get stuck in and presenting a professional and welcoming face for the hotel.
