Finance Manager
£55,000 PA
3 Month Contract | Full Time | Potential Permanent Opportunity
ACCA or CIMA Qualified
We are recruiting an experienced Finance Manager in Wickford, Essex for an initial 3-month contract, with the possibility of becoming permanent. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will take responsibility for management accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and financial controls across a group of companies.
The role
- Produce monthly management accounts including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow
- Provide financial analysis and commentary to the Finance Director and Board
- Manage budgets, forecasts, costings and financial planning
- Complete balance sheet reconciliations and quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare draft statutory accounts for external accountants
- Manage monthly payroll and supplier payment runs
- Supervise the Finance team and purchase ledger
- Review and improve financial controls, systems and procedures
- Support potential business acquisitions and wider business planning
