£26,000–£29,000 basic, depending on experience, plus bonus averaging approximately £3,000 per annum
Fully office-based | Monday–Thursday: 8.30am–5pm | Friday: 8.30am–4.30pm

Do you enjoy speaking to people, asking the right questions and finding the right opportunity for someone?

We’re looking for a proactive, organised Recruitment Resourcer to join our small, family-run recruitment business in Rettendon, Essex.

Working closely with our directors, you’ll help us find and qualify candidates for our clients’ vacancies, primarily within the automotive industry. Your main focus will be sourcing candidates, building relationships and providing the information we need to make successful introductions.

What you’ll be doing

• Searching CV-Library, our recruitment database and other sources daily to identify suitable candidates.

• Calling candidates to discuss their experience, skills, salary expectations and career goals.

• Assessing suitability for vacancies and preparing clear candidate summaries and CVs for our directors to review and submit to clients.

• Following up with candidates and keeping in touch about relevant opportunities.

• Writing and posting job adverts on our recruitment system, CV-Library and Indeed.

• Creating and sending mailers to candidates and clients to generate interest in our vacancies and services.

• Keeping candidate records accurate and up to date.

• Supporting occasional marketing activity, with candidate sourcing remaining your main priority.

What we’re looking for

You’ll be confident on the phone, comfortable starting conversations and willing to proactively contact candidates throughout the day.

You’ll also need:

• Good listening and questioning skills, with the ability to understand what someone is looking for.

• Strong organisation and attention to detail.

• Clear written communication and confidence using databases and online systems.

• The ability to manage several vacancies and follow up consistently.

• A practical, reliable approach and the initiative to keep searching when a vacancy is challenging.

Previous recruitment or resourcing experience would be an advantage. We’re also interested in hearing from people with relevant telephone-based sales or customer service experience. Automotive knowledge would be helpful, but isn’t essential.

What we offer

• A basic salary of £26,000–£29,000, depending on experience.

• A bonus scheme averaging approximately £3,000 per year, subject to performance.

• Monday-to-Friday working, with a 4.30pm finish on Fridays.

Location and working arrangements

This is a fully office-based role in Rettendon, Essex, so you’ll need to be comfortable working from the office every day and have reliable transport to reach us.
