General Operative

We are hiring a Production Assembler to assemble components by hand in a production environment. This is a hands-on, production-style role with some heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks. Work will involve fitting parts into mechanisms and ensuring assemblies are completed accurately and efficiently.

THE ROLE:

• Assemble parts manually according to work instructions
• Fit components into slot-in mechanisms (mechanical placement and assembly)
• Perform production tasks in line with quality and productivity standards
• Carry out safe lifting and handling of components as required
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Report any issues, defects, or downtime concerns to the supervisor

THE CANDIDATE:

• Physically fit and able to handle a role that includes heavy lifting
• Comfortable standing and working at a production workstation for the shift duration
• Able to follow instructions and maintain consistent attention to detail
• Reliability and the ability to work Monday–Friday shifts
• No hand tools required (work is done primarily using hands to assemble/fit parts)

THE HOURS AND RATE:

• Full-time Monday–Friday hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
• Pay of £12.71 per hour
• Ongoing production work within a team environment
• This role is offered on a temporary ongoing, with the opportunity to secure a long-term position for the right candidate.
