Weighbridge Operator

We are currently recruiting for a Weighbridge Operator to join a busy quarry and aggregates company based in Guiseley, Leeds.

This is a fantastic temporary to permanent opportunity for someone with strong administration skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced site environment.

Shift/salary:

• Temporary to permanent opportunity
• Monday to Friday, 07:30 – 16:30/17:00
• £14.00 per hour
• Immediate start for the right person

Duties will include:

• Operating the weighbridge and accurately recording vehicle weights
• Booking vehicles in and out of site
• Producing tickets and maintaining accurate records
• Liaising with drivers, customers, and site staff
• Answering calls and dealing with general enquiries
• Ensuring all health and safety procedures are followed
• Supporting with general administrative duties as required

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous weighbridge experience is desirable but not essential
• Good computer and administration skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• A confident and professional telephone manner
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience within quarry, aggregates, construction, or waste environments would be advantageous
• This role is offered on a temporary to permanent basis, with the opportunity to secure a long-term position for the right candidate.
