We are located on the outskirts of Luton close to the M1, A5 link roads and the L&D hospital. Our 3-form entry school has a very diverse school population with a range of different languages, religions and cultures. Our children are well behaved and learn in a vibrant and friendly environment.

About the job

We are looking to appoint a L2 SEND Teaching Assistant.

Under the direction of the SENDCo and class teacher you will be required to support pupils and staff through the provision of general assistance in the classroom and the school, or to support a small group of children or a child on a one-to-one basis with additional needs.

Working hours: 33.5 hours per week

Monday 8.30am to 5pm , Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 4pm

1 hour lunch break every day

Term time only + 5 inset days (39 weeks a year)

£19,733 to £20,045 actual annual salary

Fixed term contract until August 2027 (with a possibility of extending beyond then)
