Employment Solicitor (NQ- 4 PQE)

TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a modern and progressive law firm in Birmingham, which is looking to appoint an Employment Solicitor (NQ- 4 PQE) to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Solicitor to join an ambitious and forward-thinking practice, offering high-quality work and the opportunity to develop their expertise within a supportive environment.

The Role

You will work across a varied range of employment matters, advising both employers and employees on a broad spectrum of workplace issues.

The role is likely to include exposure to matters involving:

• Employment contracts and workplace policies
• Dismissals and disciplinary matters
• Settlement agreements
• Unfair and constructive dismissal claims
• Discrimination and whistleblowing matters
• Employment Tribunal claims
• Restructuring and redundancy
• Providing practical and commercially focused employment advice
• You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working closely with experienced colleagues and developing long-term relationships with clients.

About You

This opportunity would suit a newly qualified Solicitor or Employment Solicitor with up to 4 years’ PQE who has:

• Experience in employment law, either through previous post-qualification experience or a relevant training seat
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career in employment law
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• The ability to manage a varied workload and work with an appropriate level of supervision
• A proactive and commercially minded approach
• A desire to contribute to the continued growth and development of the team
