About the role
Join our dynamic team as a Veterinary Receptionist at our Mapperley practice, where your exceptional customer service skills will play a vital role in creating a welcoming environment for our clients and their beloved pets. In this part-time position, averaging 28 hours per week, you will be responsible for managing client interactions from the moment they arrive, providing guidance and support throughout their visit. Your ability to build rapport with clients and demonstrate empathy will ensure that they feel valued and understood, whether they are celebrating a new pet's first visit or navigating a difficult situation with their furry companion.
To thrive in this role, you should have prior reception experience, preferably in a clinical or veterinary setting, and be comfortable using online booking systems. Your calm demeanor and strong attention to detail will help coordinate the daily operations of the practice, including managing appointments and payments. We are looking for a passionate individual who loves pets and enjoys being part of a busy environment. In return, we offer competitive benefits, including a 20% discount at Vet Group and other retailers, as well as opportunities for career development. If you are ready to make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners, we want to hear from you!
