Pay Rate: £12.86 per hour

Hiring for our client, you'll help keep court services running smoothly-while making sure every user is treated with clarity, care and consistency.

What you'll be doing:
* Undertake administrative tasks to help prepare for, facilitate, and complete hearing support activities
* Provide support to users and stakeholders through face-to-face engagement, telephone (incoming and outbound), and correspondence in a range of formats
* Use HMCTS service scripts and knowledge articles to signpost users to the right services and provide clear information-especially where needs may be complex
* Follow complaints policies and procedures, supporting users through the process and responding promptly to prevent escalation
* Update OPTIC as required, ensuring information is accurate and up to date
* Support operational performance by processing work in line with standard operating procedures and service standards
* Handle case files with secure information management, accurate data entry, and compliance with retention and data loss protocols
* Manage jury service administration, including selection, deferral, reassignment, attendance tracking, and processing related expenses and court fees
* Assist with listing and scheduling to support efficient use of judicial time and responsiveness to urgent matters
* Support enforcement activities, including financial assessments, fine collection assistance, and preparation of basic statistical/financial reports
* Contribute to health and safety operations (PEEPs, facility checks, issue logging, and key/safety governance under team leader guidance)
* Identify risks relating to HMCTS buildings and escalate to the Senior Person on Site as required

* Strong customer service instincts, with empathy and the ability to explain processes clearly and consistently
* Confidence handling sensitive information accurately, with a focus on security and compliance
* A proactive, organised approach to administrative work, prioritising performance targets and service standards
* The ability to manage a mix of tasks in a busy operational setting-without losing attention to detail

You'll work across multiple contact methods and support users with a range of needs, including where queries may be complex

If you're successful in your application a BASIC DBS will be required as part of the on-boarding checks with Brook Street.
