Year 6 Primary Teacher

Year 6 Teacher – September StartProvide Education are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 Teacher to join a welcoming primary school in the DN37 area from September.
This is a part-time, permanent position, offering the opportunity to teach a Year 6 class within a supportive and well-organised school. The school has a strong focus on pupil progress, inclusive learning and staff development, making it a great opportunity for a teacher looking to make a real difference during an important stage of pupils’ education.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching in a UK primary school
• Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum, particularly Year 6
• Ability to plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Confident classroom and behaviour management skills
• A positive and proactive approach to teaching
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one

The RoleAs the successful Year 6 Teacher, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum
• Prepare pupils for SATs and support their transition to secondary school
• Differentiate learning to meet individual needs
• Monitor and assess pupil progress
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with school policies
• Work closely with colleagues, the SENCO and the wider leadership team
