Job Title: Junior Fire & Security Engineer
Location: Nottingham / Derby
Salary: Up to £36,000

Are you a Junior Fire & Security Engineer based in the Nottingham or Derby area looking for your next opportunity? As a Junior Fire & Security Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of fire alarm and security systems across a range of commercial and residential sites. You will be joining an established company with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality fire and security solutions to its customers.

Responsibilities:

* Install fire alarm, intruder alarm, access control, and CCTV systems in line with project specifications.
* Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance on fire and security equipment.
* Assist senior engineers on larger or more complex installations and commissioning activities.
* Fault-find and diagnose issues on existing systems, carrying out repairs as required.
* Complete site documentation, inspection reports, and job sheets accurately and on time.

Experience and Certifications required:

* Some experience in fire and security engineering, whether through employment or an apprenticeship.
* Familiarity with fire alarm or intruder alarm systems from manufacturers such as Hochiki, Advanced, Texecom, or similar.
* A full UK driving licence, as the role involves travel between sites.
* FIA Certificate in Fire Detection and Alarm Systems (desirable).
* ECS/CSCS card (desirable).
