Banking Summer Internship

What will I be doing?

Over 10 weeks, you’ll gain hands-on experience within one of our Banking teams, working alongside experienced professionals and supporting real business activities. You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Conduct company, industry and market research
• Assist with financial, credit and business analysis
• Support the preparation of client presentations, reports and marketing materials
• Contribute to financing, advisory and capital markets transactions
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, reporting and business activities
• Support strategic projects, process improvement initiatives and operational activities
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across Banking and the wider organisation

Throughout the programme, interns will follow a structured learning and development curriculum covering technical skills, commercial awareness and professional skills. Cross-team learning will provide broad insight into the different areas of Banking at Mizuho.

What are we looking for?

You should:

• Be in your penultimate year of study, with an expected graduation in 2028 (please ensure this is clearly stated on your CV and updated on your GRB profile).
• Available to complete the 10-week internship starting in June 2027.
• Interested in pursuing a career in financial services.
