Ipswich, Suffolk Prime Appointments Role: Stores Operative Location: Ipswich, Suffolk Hours: Monday to Friday, 07:15 - 15:30 Pay: £13.50 - £14.00 p/hour + Overtime Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract) We are currently recruiting for a Stores Operative to join a busy manufacturing business in Ipswich. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous stores, warehouse, or inventory management experience looking for a long-term role with an early finish and overtime available. Stores Operative Duties: Maintaining accurate stock records and inventory levels Booking goods in and out using computerised stock systems Managing components, kits, and finished products within the stores department Carrying out regular stock checks and reconciliations Packing and dispatching completed customer orders Ensuring stock movements are accurately recorded at all times Supporting on-time delivery of customer orders Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environmentWho are we looking for? Previous warehouse or stores experience is essential Inventory management or stock control experience is highly desirable Strong computer and administration skills Experience using SAP or similar stock management systems would be advantageous Good attention to detail and organisational skills Reliable, proactive, and able to work independently Strong understanding of warehouse health and safety proceduresPay & Hours: £13.50 - £14.00 p/hour Overtime available Monday to Friday, 07:15 - 15:30 Early finish every day Temporary ongoing role with the potential to go permanentIf you're looking for a hands-on stores role with responsibility for inventory management and stock control, we'd like to hear from you.
