Atlassian Engineer - Jira - Confluence - 12 month contract - Glasgow Hybrid (3 days onsite) - SC Clearance

I am looking to recruit an experienced Atlassian Engineer for a busy public sector programme in Scotland. You'll support a major transformation initiative by providing stable, well-governed tooling for project delivery, service management and collaboration. You'll also help teams embed consistent Agile and DevOps ways of working through effective use of the Atlassian suite.

Due to the nature of the client and the role, we are looking for British Nationals who hold active SC clearance or are eligibe for SC Clearance.

I am therefore keen to speak with candidates who have

• Proven experience as an Atlassian Engineer, Administrator or Consultant in large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Jira Software, Jira Service Management and Confluence.
• Background configuring complex workflows, schemes, permissions and automation rules.
• Knowledge of Atlassian Cloud and/or Data Centre environments.
• Experience integrating Atlassian platforms with external systems via APIs and automation tools.
• Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum and DevOps methodologies.
• Confident communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing and implementing governance and platform best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
