About this Role

Would you like to join the staff team of an expanding Alternative Provision Multi-Academy Trust?

Solihull Alternative Provision Academy, part of the Solihull Alternative Provision Multi Academy Trust (SAPMAT) is an alternative provision where we provide innovative solutions for a number of students for whom mainstream education is simply not working (for a range of reasons). In our short lifetime thus far we have grown considerably and continue to expand as our provision evolves.

As we have developed we have continued to recruit committed, passionate and talented staff who ensure a full range of interventions to help change the outcomes of and life chances for our students for the better.

We are looking for a committed Transition & Outreach Officer to lead on and be responsible for all aspects of transition for pupils (and parents/carers) at our satellite Centre - Orion Centre, Packington Lane, Coleshill, B46 3JE.

If you are a team player who is interested in working with young people, perhaps with previous experience in an educational environment we would welcome an application from you.

In return, SAPMAT will offer you:

  • The chance to make a real difference in the lives of our children
  • A friendly and supportive team
  • Continuous professional development
  • Employee benefits including Staff wellbeing program

Please refer to the Recruitment Pack, Job Description & Person Specification for full details of this opening.

Please see full details of our Child Protection Policy / Safeguarding Policy / SAPMAT Charter.

As part of the recruitment process, we collect and process personal data relating to job applicants.
