Pharmaceutical Dispensary Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Dispensary Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of their pharmacy dispensary and lead a high-performing team.

This is a key leadership position for a qualified pharmacy professional who can balance strong operational management with exceptional patient and customer service. You'll be responsible for ensuring the dispensary runs efficiently, safely and in line with all relevant pharmacy legislation and professional standards.

The Role

As Dispensary Manager, you will take ownership of the dispensary's daily performance, supporting the team and ensuring a high standard of service, accuracy and compliance.

You will be responsible for:

• Overseeing the daily operation of the dispensary
• Leading, coaching and developing the dispensary team
• Ensuring dispensing practices meet legislative requirements
• Maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient safety
• Supporting the team with complex customer and medication enquiries
• Monitoring dispensary workflow and improving operational efficiency
• Managing stock levels, ordering and inventory processes
• Monitoring stock discrepancies, expiry dates and dead stock
• Ensuring pharmacy procedures and policies are consistently followed
• Supporting compliance, audits and quality assurance processes
• Working closely with the Pharmacy Manager and wider team
• Delivering a professional and patient-focused customer experience

About You

We are looking for an experienced pharmacy professional with strong dispensary leadership skills and the confidence to manage both people and operations.

You will ideally have:

• Current AHPRA registration as a pharmacist
• Previous dispensary leadership or management experience
• Strong understanding of pharmacy legislation and compliance
• Proven ability to lead and develop a team
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Confident communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage a busy dispensary environment
• A proactive approach to improving processes and performance
• Strong commitment to patient care and professional standards
