Department Manager - Luxury Goods

Our client is a leading luxury goods retailer specialising in a diverse range of premium and luxury products. They are seeking an experienced Department Manager to join their Melbourne location and deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The Role

As Department Manager, you will support the day-to-day operations of your department, lead and develop the team, and drive strong commercial performance while upholding the high standards associated with a luxury retail environment.

You will be responsible for:

• Leading, coaching and developing the team
• Driving sales, KPIs and department performance
• Delivering an elevated customer experience
• Building strong and lasting client relationships
• Maintaining premium visual and presentation standards
• Supporting stock, inventory and store operations
• Assisting with rosters and daily administration
• Creating a positive and high-performing team culture

About You

We are looking for a confident and experienced retail leader who is passionate about luxury and understands how to deliver exceptional service to a discerning clientele.

You will ideally have:

• Previous Department Manager or Assistant Manager experience
• Experience within luxury or premium retail
• Strong sales and commercial management experience
• A genuine passion for luxury goods and fashion
• Exceptional customer service and clienteling skills
• Proven experience leading and developing a team
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• High attention to detail and presentation
• A polished, professional and confident approach
