The business is looking for a capable hospitality leader who can support the Venue Manager while helping build a strong, motivated, and customer-focused team.

About the Role

As Assistant Pub Venue Manager, you'll be the Venue Manager's right hand, assisting with the overall operation of the venue and taking responsibility for shifts when required.

You'll be involved across team leadership, rostering, customer service, stock control, compliance, staff training, and daily operations. You'll also have the opportunity to contribute ideas, identify improvements, and develop your commercial and leadership skills.

This is an ideal position for an experienced Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, or senior supervisor who is ready to broaden their responsibilities and work towards their next management position.

Your Skills and Experience

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor, or senior hospitality professional.
• Strong leadership skills with the confidence to take responsibility for a venue in the Manager's absence.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills with a genuine ability to motivate a team.
• Understanding of rostering, stock control, venue compliance, RSA, liquor licensing, and operational procedures.
• Commercially aware, organised, and hands-on with the drive to continually improve the venue.
