About the role

We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to take charge of a busy Elizabeth location, overseeing the people, operations and commercial performance of the store.

This is a varied role where no two days are the same. You'll be on the floor leading your team, keeping the operation running efficiently, maintaining standards and ensuring customers receive a consistently positive experience.

You'll have the support of an established operations and head office team, while having the autonomy to make decisions and drive performance within your store.

What you will do

* Take responsibility for the daily operation and overall performance of the site
* Lead, coach and develop your team to achieve strong operational and customer outcomes
* Manage recruitment, onboarding, training and ongoing performance
* Create a positive team culture where people understand expectations and feel supported
* Monitor stock levels, coordinate stocktakes and maintain accurate inventory
* Oversee cash handling, invoicing, budgets and key financial processes
* Ensure workplace health and safety requirements are consistently followed
* Maintain strong operational, compliance and risk management standards
* Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, service and store performance
* Lead by example and remain actively involved in the day-to-day running of the site

What you will bring

* Previous management experience within retail, fuel, convenience, hospitality or fast food
* Confident people leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
* A hands-on leadership style and willingness to be involved in all areas of the store
* Strong customer service focus and commercial awareness
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confidence working across stock, financial and operational responsibilities
* A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
