The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Consultant in Diabetes & Endocrinology to support a service within the South East.
This opportunity offers a locum contract within an NHS hospital environment, providing the chance to work alongside established clinical teams delivering specialist Diabetes & Endocrinology services.
The role is well suited to experienced Consultants who are confident managing both outpatient and inpatient care, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining high standards of patient care within a busy NHS setting.
You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day-to-day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality Consultant-led care within a Diabetes & Endocrinology environment
- Manage outpatient clinics and support inpatient Diabetes & Endocrinology services
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients in line with current NHS best practice
- Support day-to-day clinical operations, contributing to efficient patient flow and service delivery
- Work collaboratively with consultants, specialist nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
- Provide specialist clinical advice to colleagues and multidisciplinary teams
- Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment
What We're Looking For
- Active GMC registration
- CCT (or equivalent) in Diabetes & Endocrinology
- Relevant recent UK NHS Consultant experience
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care
- Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
