The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced Specialty Doctor to support a General Adult Community Home Based Treatment Team based in the North West.

This opportunity offers a locum contract within a community mental health setting, supporting adults experiencing acute mental health difficulties while helping to deliver effective treatment within patients' homes and the wider community.

This role is ideally suited to experienced Specialty Doctors with strong psychiatric experience, excellent clinical decision-making skills, and the ability to work autonomously within multidisciplinary teams.

What You'll Be Doing

• Assess and manage patients within a Home Based Treatment Team.
• Provide high-quality psychiatric care in community settings.
• Support crisis assessment and treatment plans.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary mental health teams.
• Deliver safe, effective, patient-centred care.
• Maintain clear and accurate clinical records.
• Participate in service delivery and clinical decision making.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration.
• Significant experience working at Specialty Doctor level.
• Valid S12 approval (essential).
• Previous NHS Psychiatry experience.
• Own transport (essential).
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
• ILS compliance (active or expired status must be declared).
