The Role

We are seeking an experienced General Practitioner (GP) to join a well-established Health Centre in Hampshire.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary primary care team, you will provide comprehensive, patient-focused care, managing a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions while promoting preventative healthcare and improving patient outcomes.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality face-to-face, telephone and video consultations for patients of all ages.

• Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of acute and chronic medical conditions.

• Prescribe medication and develop evidence-based treatment plans in line with national and local guidelines.

• Provide preventative healthcare, health promotion and routine screening advice.

• Manage long-term conditions and undertake appropriate follow-up care.

• Refer patients to secondary care and community services where clinically appropriate.

• Maintain accurate, comprehensive and contemporaneous clinical records using electronic patient record systems.

• Work collaboratively with GPs, Advanced Clinical Practitioners, Practice Nurses, Pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team.

• Participate in clinical governance, safeguarding, quality improvement and continuous professional development activities.

What We're Looking For

Applicants must:

• Hold full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a licence to practise.

• Be included on the NHS England GP Performers List (or equivalent UK Performers List where applicable).

• Have completed GP Specialty Training (CCT or equivalent).

• Have recent experience working within General Practice, Primary Care or Health Centre settings.

• Be confident managing a varied patient caseload independently.

• Demonstrate excellent clinical assessment, communication and decision-making skills.

• Be familiar with electronic patient record systems such as EMIS Web, SystmOne or Vision.

• Hold appropriate medical indemnity.

• Meet all required compliance standards.

• Have the right to work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
