The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to support a service in South West England.
This opportunity offers a locum contract working Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00, providing structured and consistent work within a hospital environment. It is well suited to experienced Respiratory Consultants who are confident managing both inpatient and outpatient workloads while delivering high standards of patient care.
You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day-to-day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

What You'll Be Doing
- Deliver high-quality care within a Respiratory Medicine service across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Manage patients requiring specialist respiratory assessment and treatment
- Support Respiratory High Care services within the inpatient setting
- Participate in outpatient clinics and multidisciplinary team working
- Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
- Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team
- Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment
What We're Looking For
- Active GMC registration
- Relevant recent UK experience within Respiratory Medicine
- Experience in General Respiratory Medicine across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Experience in Respiratory High Care within an inpatient setting
- Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
- Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
- Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
Desirable Experience
- Bronchoscopy / EBUS
- Interstitial Lung Disease clinics in an outpatient setting
