The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Dermatologist to support in the South East.

This opportunity offers a 12-month locum contract, with full-time availability preferred, although part-time applicants will also be considered. The role is ideally suited to a Dermatology Consultant who is on the GMC Specialist Register and is experienced in managing a broad range of medical dermatology and skin cancer patients within an NHS setting.

You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting outpatient services, MDT discussions, ward rounds, and Advice & Guidance services, while contributing to the delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality consultant-led dermatology care across outpatient services
• Participate in multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings
• Undertake ward rounds and provide specialist dermatology input where required
• Support Advice & Guidance (A&G) services
• Manage medical dermatology clinics
• Conduct skin cancer clinics and support associated pathways
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and patient-focused clinical environment

What We're Looking For

• GMC registration with a licence to practise
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Dermatology
• Relevant recent NHS consultant-level experience in Dermatology
• Experience in medical dermatology and skin cancer services
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgement, communication skills, and professionalism
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
