Obstetrician and Gynaecologist: Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ST6)

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking two Obstetrics & Gynaecology doctors at ST6+ level to support a service in South West England. This locum opportunity offers a Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 working pattern, with some weekends and on-call commitments required.

This role is well suited to experienced candidates who are confident working independently, can hit the ground running, and require minimal supervision. You will be joining an established clinical team and supporting the delivery of safe, effective patient care across the department.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality Obstetrics & Gynaecology care within a busy hospital environment
• Support day-to-day clinical operations and patient flow
• Manage patients independently and make sound clinical decisions with minimal supervision
• Work collaboratively with consultants, midwives, nurses, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Participate in on-call and weekend rota requirements
• Contribute to a safe, efficient, and well-functioning clinical service

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• ST6+ level experience within Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Relevant recent UK NHS experience
• Ability to work independently and confidently from day one
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
