The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Consultant Clinical Oncologist to support a service within the East of England.
This opportunity offers a 12-week locum contract, providing the chance to work within an established oncology service in a busy NHS environment. The role is well suited to experienced Consultant Clinical Oncologists who are confident managing complex cases while maintaining high standards of patient care.
You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day-to-day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality care within your scope of practice in a Clinical Oncology setting.
• Assess, diagnose, and manage oncology patients in line with NHS standards and local protocols.
• Support day-to-day clinical operations and service delivery.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and treatment planning.
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration.
• Relevant recent UK experience within Clinical Oncology.
• Previous NHS experience at Consultant level.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team.
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
