The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Interventional Radiology Consultant to support a service in South East England.

This locum opportunity is available from 10th July 2026 to 27th November 2026, covering a vacant post within an Interventional Radiology department. The role offers a varied and engaging workload, including ward sessions, clinics, theatre sessions, administrative duties, theatre reporting, and participation in the Duty Interventional Radiology service during weekdays. There may also be occasional on-call commitments, although these are expected to be infrequent.

You will work alongside an established multidisciplinary team, supporting the delivery of high-quality diagnostic and interventional radiology services while maintaining excellent standards of patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver expert Interventional Radiology services across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Attend and contribute to ward-based clinical activities
• Conduct outpatient clinics and patient consultations
• Undertake interventional and theatre-based procedures
• Complete procedure reporting and associated clinical documentation
• Participate in weekday Duty Interventional Radiology responsibilities
• Collaborate closely with radiographers, nurses, referring clinicians, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records in accordance with NHS standards
• Support safe, effective, and patient-centred service delivery

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• CCT in Radiology or equivalent specialist accreditation
• Relevant recent UK NHS experience in Interventional Radiology
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent clinical judgement, communication, and organisational skills
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
