The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Specialty Doctor in Endoscopy to support a service in Yorkshire.

This locum opportunity offers a structured weekday rota within a hospital environment. The role is ideally suited to doctors with strong endoscopy experience who can independently scope and work confidently within an established clinical team while maintaining high standards of patient care.

You will support day-to-day service delivery, contributing to safe, effective, and high-quality patient care within the Endoscopy service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality patient care within the Endoscopy service
• Independently perform endoscopic procedures within your competency and scope of practice
• Support elective and day-to-day endoscopy service provision
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment
• Support efficient patient flow and service delivery across the department

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• Relevant recent NHS experience within Endoscopy/Gastroenterology services
• Must be able to independently scope
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
