The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Haematologist (ST3+) to support services in the West Midlands.

This long-term locum opportunity offers a structured Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 working pattern, providing consistent work within a busy acute hospital environment.

This role is well suited to doctors with substantial middle-grade haematology experience who are confident managing haematology patients within an NHS setting and working collaboratively with established multidisciplinary teams.

Essential Requirements
  • Minimum 18-24 months' experience working as a Middle Grade in Haematology
  • Full GMC Registration with licence to practise
  • Recent NHS experience within Haematology
  • Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
What You'll Be Doing
  • Deliver high-quality haematology care within an acute NHS hospital setting
  • Assess, investigate and manage patients presenting with a range of haematological conditions
  • Support inpatient and outpatient haematology services
  • Work collaboratively with consultants, nursing teams and the wider multidisciplinary team
  • Maintain accurate clinical records and documentation in line with NHS standards
  • Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
  • Contribute to safe, effective and patient-centred service delivery

  • Hours: 09:00-17:00 weekdays only
What We're Looking For
  • Active GMC registration
  • Relevant recent UK NHS experience in Haematology
  • Minimum 18-24 months' Middle Grade Haematology experience
  • Excellent clinical judgement and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
