The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant Breast Radiologist to support Diagnostic Clinics across the East Midlands.

This long-term locum opportunity offers a structured Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:30 working pattern, providing consistent work a minimum of 4 months.

You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting breast imaging and diagnostic services while helping to maintain high standards of patient care and service delivery.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality breast imaging services within your scope of practice.
• Support diagnostic clinics through the assessment and reporting of breast imaging studies.
• Participate in one-stop clinics and multidisciplinary team working where required.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists, radiographers, breast care nurses, surgeons, and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation.
• Contribute to safe, effective, and patient-centred diagnostic pathways.
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately.

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration with a licence to practise.
• Relevant Radiology qualifications with specialist experience in Breast Radiology.
• Recent UK experience within breast imaging services.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication, clinical judgement, and reporting skills.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
