The Programme

We are seeking experienced Consultant Urogynaecologists to support an NHS insourcing programme delivering urogynaecology clinics across the South West of England.

Working within a structured clinical team, you will help increase patient capacity, reduce waiting times and support the NHS in clearing an existing urogynaecology backlog.

The programme will include a mixture of pessary clinics, PTNS, flow clinics and urodynamics, with activity delivered during weekday sessions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver Consultant-led urogynaecology outpatient clinics within established NHS pathways.
• Assess and manage patients presenting with a range of urogynaecological conditions.
• Support clinics including pessary, PTNS, flow and urodynamics, where appropriately trained.
• Provide clinical leadership and oversight within the multidisciplinary insourcing team.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records.
• Work collaboratively with specialist nurses and practitioners to deliver safe, efficient and high-quality patient care.
• Support NHS elective recovery by helping reduce the existing urogynaecology waiting list.

What We're Looking For

Applicants must:

• Hold full GMC registration.
• Be on the GMC Specialist Register in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
• Have demonstrable experience in urogynaecology.
• Have relevant experience within urogynaecology outpatient services.
• Experience in areas such as pessary clinics, PTNS, flow clinics and/or urodynamics is highly desirable.
• Be confident working independently within NHS clinical environments.
• Hold appropriate medical indemnity.
• Meet current NHS compliance requirements.
• Have the right to work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship).
