The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology to support a service in North West England.

This locum opportunity offers a long-term contract commencing ASAP for 3 months, with a view to extension. The role includes a mix of obstetric and gynaecology responsibilities, supporting established clinical teams in delivering safe, effective patient care.

The successful candidate will be involved in obstetric and gynaecology on-call work, twilight shifts, resident and non-resident night cover, antenatal clinics, and theatre sessions as required.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality Obstetrics & Gynaecology care within a busy healthcare setting
• Participate in obstetric and gynaecology on-call rotas
• Cover twilight, resident night, and non-resident night shifts where required
• Support antenatal clinics and theatre sessions
• Work alongside multidisciplinary teams to provide safe and effective patient care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records
• Escalate clinical concerns appropriately and contribute to service quality and patient safety
