The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant in Respiratory Medicine to support a service in the East of England.

This opportunity offers a 4-month locum contract within a 09:00-17:00 shift pattern, providing structured and consistent work within a hospital environment. It is well suited to candidates with experience in Respiratory Medicine who are confident working in fast-paced clinical settings while maintaining high standards of care.

You will be working alongside established clinical teams, supporting day-to-day service delivery and contributing to safe, effective patient care.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality care within your scope of practice in a Respiratory Medicine environment
• Support day-to-day clinical operations, contributing to efficient patient flow and service delivery
• Assess, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, AHPs, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain clear, accurate, and timely clinical documentation in line with NHS standards
• Identify and escalate clinical concerns appropriately
• Contribute to maintaining a safe, effective, and well-functioning clinical environment

What We're Looking For

• Active GMC registration
• Entry on the GMC Specialist Register for Respiratory Medicine (or eligibility)
• Relevant recent UK NHS experience
• Ability to work both independently and as part of an established multidisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgement, communication, and professionalism
• Valid Right to Work in the UK (please note we do not offer visa sponsorship)
