The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Consultant in Haematology to support a service in South West England.

This locum opportunity is Monday to Friday, 09:00-17:00 working pattern. The role offers structured weekday work within an NHS hospital setting and is ideally suited to experienced Haematology clinicians looking for a long-term placement within a well-established multidisciplinary team. You will play a key role in supporting service delivery while maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical excellence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Deliver high-quality Haematology care within an NHS hospital setting
• Support safe and effective patient care across Haematology services
• Work collaboratively with consultants, nurses, laboratory teams, and the wider multidisciplinary team
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Contribute to service delivery in line with local guidelines and NHS standards
• Support a safe, effective, and patient-centred clinical environment

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Haematology
• Up-to-date knowledge and clinical experience in Haematology
• Full GMC registration
• MBBS or equivalent qualification
• Meets professional health requirements
• Excellent written and spoken English
• Strong communication skills with patients, relatives, clinical colleagues, and support staff
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
