Furniture Salesperson - Part time

Our client is a premium furniture retailer seeking a confident and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join their showroom team on a part-time basis.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has an interest in furniture and interiors, and is confident in a consultative sales environment. You'll be helping customers make considered purchasing decisions while delivering a high level of service throughout the sales process.

The Role

You'll be responsible for creating a welcoming showroom experience, understanding customer needs and providing knowledgeable product recommendations.

Key responsibilities include:

• Welcoming customers and providing personalised service
• Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
• Managing sales from enquiry through to completion
• Building customer relationships and following up on leads
• Working towards individual and team sales targets
• Maintaining showroom presentation and product standards
• Developing strong knowledge of the product range
• Supporting daily showroom operations

About You

We're looking for someone who is personable, motivated and confident engaging with customers. Previous furniture or premium retail experience is highly regarded, however strong sales experience and a genuine interest in interiors will also be considered.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous retail or consultative sales experience
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Confidence working towards sales targets
• An interest in furniture, interiors or design
• A professional and customer-focused approach
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
