Assistant Manager - Women's Fashion

Our client is a premium womenswear retailer seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join their team. This is an opportunity for a confident retail leader who enjoys working on the shop floor, developing a team and delivering a personalised customer experience.

The Role

Working closely with the Store Manager, you'll help drive the performance of the store while remaining hands-on with customers and the team. You'll be an important part of the leadership team, helping create a positive and commercially focused environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting the Store Manager with daily operations
• Leading and motivating the team on the floor
• Driving sales and supporting KPI performance
• Building genuine customer relationships and repeat business
• Coaching team members to improve performance
• Supporting stock management and replenishment
• Maintaining strong visual and presentation standards
• Assisting with rostering and team organisation
• Taking ownership of the store when required

About You

We're looking for an experienced retail leader with a genuine interest in womenswear and a strong understanding of premium customer service.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous Assistant Manager, 2IC or senior retail experience
• Experience within fashion or premium womenswear
• Strong sales and KPI awareness
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• A confident and approachable leadership style
• Strong attention to detail and presentation
• Passion for fashion, styling and premium retail
