About the Company
This Australian owned business is growing rapidly with a huge pipeline of work! Due to this rapid growth they want to expand their team and bring on a Roofer to join their Brisbane & Sunshine Coast team! Even if you have fascia guttering experience only - please apply! The team have a vast knowledge of roofing in the industry and a great reputation in the market! This is a key role in the business and a background in metal roofing is essential for this role.

About the Role
Working in the domestic and commercial sector, you will be reporting in the Business Manager and working alongside other roofers. You will be working with a team of technicians who understand that open communication, running on time and their reliability sets them apart from their competition.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will include but not be limited to:

• Provide support, advice, coaching and supervision of a team of 4 roofers or more at times
• Installing metal roofing panels and making custom roof and guttering pieces in the shop.
• Operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and multiple electric and air compress tools following OSHA safety procedures.
• Measuring and cutting materials to ensure that they fit securely around vents, gutters, chimneys, and walls.
• Smoothing out rough spots on roofs to prepare the surface for new shingles or waterproofing.
• Replacing areas of clients' roofs that are damaged or rotting.
• Running jobs and leading by example

Skills & experience

• Previous metal roofing experience is a MUST for this role!
• If you are an experience roofer please apply !
• Great communication and leadership qualities
• Valid Australian drivers license.
• The ability to work autonomously
• Able to take direction well and learn quickly on the job

Benefits
Depending on experience, this role comes with a annual salary rate of $50 - $60p/h + Super + Vehicle and Fuel Card.
