About the role

Are you an experienced Occupational Therapist looking for a role where you can have more ownership, support junior clinicians and grow with the team?

We are currently recruiting for a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a growing allied health organisation expanding its services across the Illawarra and Southern Highlands.

This is a great opportunity for an OT with 2-3+ years' experience who enjoys managing their own caseload but is also ready to take on more responsibility within a growing team.

About the role

You will be joining the service at an exciting stage of growth. There is currently a junior OT within the team, with plans to continue building the service.

Your role will include:

  • Manage a mixed disability and aged care caseload

  • Complete assessments and provide ongoing OT intervention

  • Work with clients across clinic, home and community settings

  • Manage your own caseload with a good level of autonomy

  • Provide support and supervision to a junior Occupational Therapist

  • Work closely with clients, families and other healthcare professionals

  • Support the growth and development of the OT service

  • Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture

About you

We're looking for an Occupational Therapist with around 2-3+ years' experience who is ready for the next step in their career.

The organisation is open to OTs from different clinical backgrounds. Previous NDIS, disability, community or aged care experience would be beneficial, but the right attitude and transferable experience are equally important.

You will ideally have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience

  • Confidence managing your own caseload

  • Strong communication and clinical skills

  • An interest in mentoring and supporting junior OTs

  • Ability to work independently while still being part of a team

  • A genuine interest in helping build and grow a service

What's on offer?

  • $100,000 - $110,000 + super, depending on experience

  • Full-time permanent position

  • Flexibility for the right person

  • Existing referrals and caseload to build from

  • Opportunity to supervise and mentor junior OTs

If you're an experienced OT looking for your next opportunity, we'd love to hear from you.
