*About the Role*

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced *Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP)* to join our dynamic clinical team. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for patients presenting with a wide range of acute and chronic conditions.

Working autonomously within your scope of practice, you will play a key role in delivering safe, effective, and patient-centred care while supporting service development and mentoring junior staff.

*Key Responsibilities*

* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history taking and physical examinations.
* Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and long-term conditions.
* Prescribe medications independently in accordance with current legislation and local guidelines.
* Order and interpret diagnostic investigations.
* Develop and implement treatment plans and provide health promotion advice.
* Refer patients appropriately to secondary care and other services.
* Maintain accurate clinical records.
* Participate in audit, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
* Support and mentor nursing and multidisciplinary colleagues.

*Person Specification*

*Essential Criteria*

* Registered Nurse with current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
* MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
* Independent Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.
* Demonstrated competence in autonomous clinical assessment and decision-making.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Evidence of continuing professional development.

*Desirable Criteria*

* Experience using electronic patient record systems such as EMIS Web
* Significant post-registration experience in primary care, urgent care, or emergency settings
