Refuse Loader

We have an exciting opportunity to work for Braintree District Council on an upcoming project, collecting local waste and delivering new bins to local resident. Pay rates from £12.71 per hour. The role of Refuse Loader is based in Braintree area.

Shifts for Refuse Loader:

• Monday – Friday – 07:00 – 15:00

Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• £13.58 (£20.38 OT) per hour after 12 weeks completed

Main Duties of Refuse Loader:

• Working with the local council’s waste team to collect domestic and commercial waste
• Working with a crew on a refuse truck (no driving involved)
• Learning how to use a rear end loader for wheelie bins
• Representing the Council while delivering new wheelies bins for upcoming waste collection changes around Braintree area
• Observing all council health and safety rules
• Finish when the work is done, usually early
