Radiant Jobs Ltd is recruiting an experienced Cyber Security Analyst for a temporary assignment in London. This role is suited to a capable professional who can identify, investigate and reduce cyber-security risk. Working within Cyber Security, you will take ownership of security monitoring, alert triage, incident response, vulnerability management, threat analysis, controls and reporting. We are looking for someone who combines strong technical or professional capability with sound judgement, clear communication and a consistently high standard of service. You should be able to become effective quickly, adapt to the client environment and deliver confidently from the outset.
Key Responsibilities
Take day-to-day ownership of security monitoring, alert triage, incident response, vulnerability management, threat analysis, controls and reporting.
Apply sound professional judgement to identify, investigate and reduce cyber-security risk.
Deliver work accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed deadlines and service standards.
Communicate clearly with colleagues, clients, customers or stakeholders and provide timely updates.
Maintain complete, accurate and appropriately confidential records and documentation.
Identify risks, issues or exceptions early and take appropriate action or escalate where necessary.
Work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute positively to service quality and operational performance.
Follow all relevant legislation, professional standards, organisational policies and health & safety requirements.
Look for practical opportunities to improve quality, efficiency, customer experience or outcomes.
Maintain current knowledge, skills and professional development relevant to the role.
Essential Requirements
Demonstrable experience working as a Cyber Security Analyst or in a closely related role.
Practical experience relevant to Cyber Security.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a professional and service-focused approach.
Excellent organisation, prioritisation and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently, use sound judgement and contribute effectively as part of a team.
Confidence using the systems, technology and documentation required for the role.
Good understanding of security, quality and documentation practices.
Qualifications Required
Cyber Security/Computer Science degree or equivalent; Security+, CISSP, CEH or similar certification desirable.
Desirable Requirements
Previous experience in a comparable Cyber Security environment.
Additional relevant professional training, certification or membership.
Evidence of continuous professional development and up-to-date sector knowledge.
Experience improving processes, service standards or team performance.
A proactive, dependable and solutions-focused approach.
