Consultant – Obstetrics & Gynaecology at South West Acute Hospital (SWAH)

Grayscale Medical is recruiting a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology for locum cover at the South West Acute Hospital (SWAH) in Enniskillen, part of Western Health and Social Care Trust. This is a locum assignment at £100/hr assignment rate with multiple daytime shifts from 1st to 11th September 2026.

Role Details

You will provide consultant-level obstetric and gynaecological cover at SWAH, including on-call commitments as specified. Specific dates required are 1st, 3rd, 4th (half day AM), 5th, 8th, 10th, and 11th September, with standard hours of 09:00–17:00. SWAH serves the Fermanagh and west Tyrone population, providing a full maternity service including labour ward, antenatal clinics, gynaecological surgery, and emergency gynaecological presentations. The trust has specifically requested fully compliant doctors who are confirmed available for the required dates. Please note the trust cannot assist with accommodation.

Requirements

• Valid GMC registration with licence to practise
• Right to work in the UK
• Up-to-date DBS/AccessNI clearance
• Consultant-level experience in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
• Professional indemnity insurance
• Minimum 2 professional references
• Confirmed availability for all required dates prior to submission
