Position Overview

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Teach practical and theoretical skills in acting, vocal technique, and choreography across age groups.

  • Direct School Productions: Lead and manage exciting school plays, musicals, concerts, and community showcases.

  • Guide Exam Success: Prepare and mentor students through qualifications including GCSE, BTEC, and RSL performance grades.

  • Foster Inclusion: Build a safe, encouraging environment where students develop technical skills, personal confidence, and social growth.


Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualifications/experience in Performing Arts.

  • Proven track record of planning and delivering engaging performing arts lessons.

  • Strong behavior management skills and a creative, energetic approach.

  • Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
