The Opportunity
Randstad Care is recruiting experienced Children's Support Workers to provide vital daily care, emotional guidance, and safety for young people across Islington and surrounding north/east London neighborhoods.
Core Responsibilities
Individualised Care: Support children with complex medical, physical, or behavioral needs using a person-centered approach.
Communication & Support: Adapt verbal and non-verbal techniques to connect effectively with children of all developmental levels.
Crisis Stabilization: Maintain composure and implement safety procedures during high-pressure situations or behavioral challenges.
Safeguarding & Reporting: Recognize signs of vulnerability or distress, ensuring strict compliance with child protection guidelines and accurate log keeping.
Candidate Requirements
Experience: Minimum 6 months of paid experience supporting children or young people.
DBS: Active Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (Mandatory).
Residency: Must be a UK resident with full legal Right to Work.
