We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Teacher to work only for the morning hours in Luton. This role is set to start from September on a long term contract.
As an Early Years Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that supports the development of young children during this crucial stage of their education. Your role will involve planning and delivering engaging lessons that foster the social, emotional, and academic growth of each child.
Responsibilities :
- Support children across the curriculum
- Give extra support to children with special needs
- Report student progress
- Help prepare a lesson and tidy the classroom afterwards
- You will have to communicate effectively with children, staff, parents and carers where required
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and play.
- Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback and support to ensure each child reaches their developmental milestones.

Required Skills :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one through Randstad Education)
- 2 recent professional references
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to professional development.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is essential
- Good knowledge of EYFS
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum and effective teaching strategies.
