Retail Assistant - FTC

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Retail Assistant for a fixed-term contract to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their inquiries, providing product information, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the store's presentation by restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the shop floor is tidy and inviting. Your ability to engage with customers and provide helpful recommendations will contribute to driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include operating the cash register, processing transactions accurately, and managing returns and exchanges in a professional manner. You will also be required to assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and conducting regular stock counts. Working collaboratively with team members, you will help in executing promotional displays and merchandising initiatives to attract customers and maximize sales opportunities. Flexibility in working hours is essential, as you may be required to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as needed.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for retail. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory, as we are open to training the right candidate.
