HGV - Automotive Technician / Mechanic - Workshop Based - Rugby

We are seeking a skilled HGV Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop-based team in Rugby. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of heavy goods vehicles, ensuring that they meet safety and performance standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting routine maintenance checks, executing repairs on mechanical and electrical systems, and troubleshooting faults effectively. You will also be tasked with performing inspections and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant automotive qualification, such as an NVQ or City & Guilds, alongside proven experience in HGV repair and maintenance. You should have a thorough understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, and braking systems. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential, as is the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driving license is required, and holding an HGV license would be advantageous.
